Community Partnerships
From Edmon Yohannes, Exec. Team Leader Assets
Protection, Target
I
just wanted to send out a recap of a great event we
hosted today at T1960. In partnership with Gilbert PD
and the Arizona Crime Prevention Association, our
store hosted a mobile Child ID Clinic. We had an amazing
turn out and we were able to help service many different
families. We had some coverage prior to the event in the
East Valley Tribune(
http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/local/gilbert/article_a50d38b6-b18e-11e0-a837-001cc4c03286.html
) and Channel 15 (ABC) News came out this morning. Using
the latest technology, parents received a laminated ID
card with their child's information as well as a CD
which stores digital fingerprints, photographs and voice
recognition files. This is a free service that the
Arizona Crime Prevention Association offers to citizens
of different cities across the state.
I
want to thank Mary Jo, Kim, and Vicki of Gilbert PD and
the Arizona Crime Prevention for allowing us to host
this wonderful event. I would also like to thank my STL
Jim and ETL-HR Tracy for always encouraging and being so
supportive of the service/crime prevention events that
our AP teams get to be apart of.
Please be on the look out for our MEGA Event on 11/4/11
from 4pm-630pm, that will include VIN etching of
vehicles, shred truck on-site, and drug disposal where
citizens can drop off prescription drugs.
